Insurance Backed Guarantees for Flat Roofs
Roofix Services Ltd flat roofs are issued with an insurance backed guarantee of either; 10, 15 or 20 yrs
depending on the choice of felt system.

The products used are guaranteed to keep their watertight properties for
a minimum of specified guaranteed length and guarantees up to the amount of: E520,000.00.
The compensation for direct damages unintentionally caused to the beneficiary or to third
parties through water ingress as a result of a production defect in the roofing membrane is
covered in the guarantee.
The cost of repair and / or replacement of the membrances installed as also covered,
including materials used as protection of the membranes when this should be necessary to effect
a repair of a failure that can be indemnified as per the terms of the insurance policy...see below.
Roofix Services also provide a 10, 15 or 20 yrs labour guarantee for all works carried out,
depending on roofing system installed.

Insurance Conditions
Only complete roof installations are covered by these guarantees. This includes new buildings and re-roofing
of existing buildings.
Roofing systems must be strictly in accordance with Sapp SRL's specifications and installations
should be carried out according to Sappi SRL's instructions.
All materials used in the roofing system must be either manufactured, supplied or approved
by Sappi SRL for use in conjunction with Sappi SRL's materials.
No moneys should remain outstanding from either the Building Owner or The Roofing Contractor
to the supplier, when enforcing the guarantee.
The building owner should ensure proper maintenance to the roof during the whole period
covered by the guarantee.
All claims should be made in writing by registered letter within three days of discovery of fault.
Damages not covered by these guarantees:
Any damages of cosmetic nature, not affecting the waterproofing integrity of the roofing system.
Any damages suffered by the products as a consequence of anomalous movements in the building structure and/or
in the insulation materials.
Any damages caused by improper, careless or faulty installation.
Any damamges caused by either lack of maintenance, or insufficient or improper maintenance of the roof.
Any other damages not caused by manufacturing defects of the products, such as: damages voluntarily inflicted;
damages caused by the acts or omissions of other trades or contractors; damages caused by abnormal natural phenomena,
such as: lightening, windstorms, hailstorms, earthquakes; damages caused by faulty design o construction of the
substructure over which the products have been applied; damages caused by war, riots and terrorism acts,
damages occurring in connection with the transformation of the atom (nuclear fission, nuclear fusion etc.)
